Experts from Google DeepMind and LinkedIn Among the First Speakers Announced for the 9th Regional E-commerce Conference

We are excited to announce the first six confirmed speakers who will join us at the 9th Regional E-commerce Conference, taking place on 3 November 2026 at the National Opera & Ballet in Skopje.

This year, we are bringing together experts from global technology companies, leading regional organizations, and inspiring AI and ecommerce success stories. Our goal is to create a high-level program featuring some of the most relevant voices shaping the future of digital commerce.

Among the first confirmed speakers are:

Jovan Andonov, Senior Research Engineer at Google DeepMind, who is part of the team developing Gemini, one of Google’s most advanced AI models. His work focuses on search and ranking systems for Gemini Personal Intelligence, while his previous experience includes roles at Google and IBM Research.

Armita Lal, Senior Client Solutions Manager at LinkedIn, who brings more than a decade of experience in marketing and brand development. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with global brands including Ferrero, Huggies, and Douwe Egberts Coffee, and today helps organizations build stronger digital presence and impactful brand strategies.

Our first speaker lineup also includes prominent leaders and innovators from across the region, representing companies and initiatives that are redefining ecommerce, digital transformation, and AI-driven growth.

Held under the theme “From Wait to Go: E-comm at AI Speed!”, this year’s conference will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping customer experiences, marketing, operations, payments, and the future of online commerce.

As one of the leading ecommerce gatherings in Southeast Europe, we expect to welcome more than 900 attendees, 30+ speakers, and participants from over 12 countries, creating a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration across the digital economy ecosystem.

We will announce additional speakers and agenda details in the coming months.
