Aleksandar is an MBA holder with two decades of experience in driving economic growth, facilitating trade, fostering favorable business environments, and enhancing access to finance. His extensive background in managing development initiatives across multiple USAID-funded projects includes the flagship activity he is proud of – his work in e-commerce and the digital economy. This allowed him to extend his expertise roles in various countries and regions, including Southeast Europe, Western Africa, and the Pacific, funded by different donors such as the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, UNDP, Expertise France, UNCDF, and others. Aleksandar’s focus on the intersection of trade, finance, and technology has further motivated him to take over a pioneering regional activity funded by USAID on embedded finance. In this initiative, he is developing new financial products through collaboration between innovative finance and fintech companies and online e-commerce marketplaces.
