Katerina is a professional in the field of finance, with 22 years of experience in the banking sector in Sparkase Banka and Ohridska Banka.
She comes to NLB from Sparkase Bank, where for the past 3 years, since 2021, she has held the position of Director of the Population Department. As the holder of this managerial function, Katerina manages 36 branch offices in the Bank’s business network, making a significant contribution to the development of sales strategy, planning and introduction of new banking products and their realization. At the same time, she is a member of the Liabilities and Assets Management Board (ALKO) and the Project Portfolio Board in the bank.
Katerina started her career in the banking sector in 2003 as a Treasurer in a branch office of Ohridska Banka. For seven years, she has been working in the segments of planning and analysis, foreign payments, lending and credit analysis of corporate clients and individuals. From 2010 to 2021, Katerina held several management positions: Director of the Directorate for Large and International Clients, Deputy Director in the Corporate Banking and Investments Department, Director of the Directorate for Small and Medium Corporate Banking and Director of the Population Directorate.
Thanks to its many years of banking experience and commitment to results, in the area of working with the population, Sparkasse Bank has recorded an increase in sales and growth of the market portfolio on an annual level, improvement of customer satisfaction, successful implementation of the project for the complete modernization of the network of the branch offices of the bank, efficient integration of retail banking activities during the merger of Ohridska and Šparkase banka and a number of others.
Katerina has a degree in financial management, with postgraduate studies in the field of business administration. She is a wife and mother of two sons.
