Stefan Andonovski has a doctorate from the “Justinian I” Faculty of Law in Skopje and has a master’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University in the USA.
Before his political engagement, he worked for five years in the business sector in Macedonia and is a consultant for international donor projects in the field of digital marketing, communications, and media. In the local elections in 2021, he was elected as a member of the Council of the City of Skopje.
From January to June 2024, he holds the position of additional deputy of the Minister of Information Society and Administration in the Government for the organization of the 2024 parliamentary elections.
On June 23, 2024, he was elected as a minister in the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
He has written papers and columns in domestic and international journals, focusing on international mediation and negotiations, as well as on constitutional reforms in post-conflict systems. He speaks Macedonian, English, and Italian, and also speaks Greek and German.
