Damjan Manchevski is the Minister of Information Society and Administration since June 1, 2017. Mr. Manchevski has more than ten years of professional working experience in ICT sector, as manager and executive director of several companies. Between 2005 and 2006 he has worked as Engineer for radio frequencies in the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC).

His vision as Minister of Information Society and Administration is to work together with the ICT companies towards creating innovative solutions for strengthening the effectiveness of public policies and introducing new technological processes to increase productivity, making Macedonia an example for the region regarding the digital transformation. Together with his team, Mr. Manchevski will work on creating accountable and transparent public administration which will serve the citizens, through the re-establishment of the merit system and strengthening the training programs for the administrative servants. The public administration reform (PAR) will be conducted in an open, consultative process together with the civil society, trade unions, chambers and other relevant stakeholders.

After several years of working in Macedonia, he goes to attend the postgraduate studies at Imperial College London. In the meantime he works as a freelancer on several independent ecommerce projects. After completing his studies, he decides to return to Macedonia and start the project Paket.mk and in January 2018 he successfully launches Paket.mk.

Nina Angelovska is Cofounder and CEO of the first deal platform in Macedonia, Grouper.mk, launched in 2011 that transformed the e-commerce market. She is a relentless and inspiring young woman who is driven by a passion to change the e-commerce market and leave a mark on the Macedonian business world. Nina and her team contributed to increasing online sales in Macedonia by more than 350%. Today, Grouper.mk is the leading e-commerce company in Macedonia with a team of 17 people. Nina is a frequent speaker at universities, TV shows, and many other events where she serves as a role model for future generations, motivating and encouraging young people to step out of their comfort zone. Nina has participated in many international e-commerce conferences and workshops. She has been recognized in her country and internationally, and was on the “100 Female Founders Europe” list published by the eminent German magazine The Hundert and in 2018 Angelovska was initiated into the most prestigious club of young leaders when Forbes named her “Forbes 30 Under 30” Honoree in Retail and Ecommerce in Europe.

Angelovska completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in E-business at the Faculty of Economics, St. Cyril, and Methodius University in Skopje. She then pursued her PhD, aiming to turn practice into science and completed her Doctorate degree in 2016.

Damjan is a co-founder and managing partner of IWM Network, an ICT company founded in 2008 with a simple idea to help companies to better understand the ever-emerging digital world and use its advantages in a smarter way. For the past 10 years, Damjan has worked on developing IWM Network into a digital holding agency with a portfolio of businesses that includes several brands, companies, and strategic partnerships. The list of his main specialties includes: digital business transformation, web design and development, e-commerce, blockchain consulting and development, digital marketing, and IT security. Damjan has over 15 years of experience in the ICT industry and has been featured as a speaker, panelist, and lecturer on many events that cover the digital and business world.

Vanya Manova is accountable for the development and implementation of Mastercard’s local business strategy. In her role, Vanya drives innovation in both markets, related to Mastercard new tech solutions’ expansion and electronic payments’ growth, and further strengthen the collaboration and partnership with key customers, governmental bodies and the public sector.

After 20 years’ experience in banking sector Vanya Manova joined the Bulgarian team of Mastercard in 2008 as an Account Manager. Over the past few years, she has driven the local business operations and has helped to position Mastercard as a strategic partner for both end customers and non-traditional partners including local government institutions and regulatory bodies. She led the launch and growth of contactless payments in Bulgaria & Macedonia making Mastercard the ultimate leader in contactless field within these markets.

Nikola Ljushev is the CEO of Makedonski Telekom. He has extensive experience of over 20 years in the telecommunications industry on top-level management positions in the Deutsche Telekom Group and in the Telekom Austria Group.

He was the CEO of Vip Operator and later the Executive Director of one.Vip after merger of the two companies Vip and One.He joined the Deutsche Telekom Group as a CEO of Crnogorski Telekom.

Global Telecom Business – London awarded him twice as one of the top Forty-Under-Forty executive directors in the telecommunication segment worldwide.

Daniela has a Bachelor’s Degree in entrepreneurship from Gea College, Ljubljana, Slovenia and a Master’s Degree in fashion and luxury management from SKEMA University in France.

Her work experience started as an intern for an event management company, where she worked as a project manager for PR and marketing events. After that, she started working as a business focus researcher for the Ethical Fashion Forum in London. Daniela founded Bastet Noir 5 years ago with the idea to promote and sell products from Macedonian fashion designers outside of the borders of Macedonia. That concept failed, so two years ago she decided to turn Bastet Noir into a fashion label that will do custom-made clothing items and sell them online. This turned out to be an incredible success, with more than 500 pieces sold last year all over the world and more than 600 online retailers carrying Bastet Noir's collections. Around that same period, Daniela also founded Coffice, the first coworking center in Macedonia.

Apart from this, Daniela is a storyteller, fashion lover, incurable dreamer and relentless entrepreneur at heart.

Ljupcho Antovski, PhD is a Software Engineering professor at FINKI in Skopje, with 20+ years of experience in the IT area. He is the co-founder and board member of iVote, a company that specializes in e-commerce technology and operations, among other areas.

iVote’s flagship brand is KupiKniga.mk, an online bookstore that offers more than 55,000 items from a range of Macedonian, regional and international publishers. It distributes products to customers all around the world. KupiKniga.mk implements the zero-stock model, optimized distribution, and proprietary products recommender system.

Triin is the new Director of Government Affairs of EMOTA, in Brussels, which represents national e-commerce associations, including the Macedonian E-commerce Association.

She is in charge of the policy and advocacy activities of EMOTA, which include European Union consumer legislation, international trade, digital agenda, payments, and other European dossiers with an impact on online selling.

Triin has a long-standing experience in European Union affairs, both in the private and the public sector, and holds a degree in EU Law. She has worked in the European Parliament for many years, as a political and legal advisor to the Members of the European Parliament.

She is originally from Estonia, has a warm entrepreneurial heart, and loves travelling and skiing!

Mislav Galler is the Executive Director of Vip Macedonia since December 2017. He majored in economics in 2006 from the College of Business Administration "Balthazar Adam Krcelic" and was part of several executive education programs such as INSEAD and Harvard Business School. He began his lengthy, successful career in January 2003 as Sales Advisor at Auto Zubak DOO for the Audi brand, crossing over to the position of Head of the Commercial Sector with Peugeot Croatia in 2004.

He joined Merkur International DOO in 2006, assuming the position of Wholesales Director. In 2010 he continued his career with the Rewe Group Croatia, where he was named CEO at Bipa and then member of the Board of Directors of Billa DOO.

Mislav joined the Vipnet team in February 2012, holding the position of Head of Business Sales while he was appointed as Business Sales Director at Vipnet in February of 2015.

In 2016 he was appointed Chief Enterprise Division Officer and Leadership Team member, managing several departments.

Jovan Despotovski is a graduated economist at the Faculty of Economics at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” and a postgraduate in international relations and diplomacy at the University “American College” – Skopje. He has an extensive experience in the field of strategic planning and coordination of capacity building programs financed by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and foreign donors.

As head of the Sector in the Secretariat for European Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, he participated in the realization of the significant projects: the realization of Corridor X, the cooperation with international financial institutions, program coordinator of the Office for National Aid, led the working group for the compilation of the Questionnaire of the EC for the application of the Republic of Macedonia for EU membership in the field of economy, which gives Macedonia the status of an EU member state.

He is a co-founder of MENSA.

Ajlin Sheali has a master degree in information system management and has experience in online advertising, digital platforms and project management.

Ajlin believes that to achieve the goal, three main things are needed: a good plan, persistence and dedication. Ajlin is an Executive Manager of the leading website for online advertising in Macedonia - Pazar3.mk. The business model of Pazar3 aims to provide a simple, effective and safe form of advertisement. Through the Pazar3 website, both companies and Macedonian citizens have the opportunity easily to buy, sell and exchange items and services. The objective of Pazar3 is to continuously enhance the user experience of online advertisement.

Yu-kai Chou is an Author and International Keynote Speaker on Gamification and Behavioral Design. He is the Original Creator of the Octalysis Framework, and the author of Actionable Gamification: Beyond Points, Badges, and Leaderboards. He is currently President of The Octalysis Group and the Founder of Octalysis Prime, a Gamified Mentorship Platform. Yu-kai has been a regular speaker/lecturer on gamification and motivation worldwide, including at organizations like Google, Stanford University, LEGO, Tesla, TEDx, Boston Consulting Group, Turkish Airline, Huawei, the governments of UK, Singapore, South Korea, Kingdom of Bahrain, and many more. Zlatko Veterovski has a PhD in foreign trade. He has 26 years of experience in the Customs Administration, performing various functions, Chief of Intersectoral Cooperation Unit, Head of Training Unit, Advisor to the Director and Assistant Director of the Department for Customs System. Zlatko has an extensive knowledge of the customs and customs tariffs of the EU, the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Vlatko Atanasoski is the director of the Postal Agency, an independent regulatory body in the field of postal services, he has been serving as a director for ten years, since the founding of the Agency. Mr. Atanasoski is a Master in International Economics.

In his professional career, he was the Head of the Sector for Local Economic Development in the Municipality of Prilep and was a member of the Board of Directors of Tutunski Kombinat AD Prilep. He previously worked as head of the microcredit department in several Macedonian commercial banks.

Within the postal sector, particular attention is paid to the supply of goods that are subject to electronic commerce, i.e. were purchased online.

It is his initiative to raise the threshold for duty-free imports of consumer goods that are subject to international e-commerce. At his initiative, the first regional conference of postal regulators from the Balkans was held in Skopje in 2012, and is held traditionally every year since.

As a Master in Economic Sciences with his academic university experience as an assistant, with specialty of Banking Management and Marketing, Atila appears as a lecturer in a range of domestic and international seminars, exchanging scientific experience and research with students and academia.

In 2010, he became part of Halkbank AD. Skopje in the Population Directorate, directly involved in the creation of the bank's production policy, as well as in the process of acquiring, merging and transferring the know-how of the main shareholder. Since 2013, as a manager, he is actively involved in the overall technological and marketing development of Alternative Distribution Channels and Payment Cards. He is currently monitoring the sales and marketing of the already implemented and well recognized network of POS terminals, innovations in the area of electronic and mobile banking, the entire card system and ATM network and he actively supports and contributes to E-commerce in this market.

Marija Tomeska is the President of the Board of Directors of Eurolink Insurance AD Skopje. Marija graduated from the University of London's Economics and Politics, Queen Mary College and a Masters in London School of Economics and Political Science, London, UK, gaining an academic degree in Management and Risk Management.

She has been building her career in EUROLINK Insurance AD Skopje starting in 2004 through various positions and since 2014 she is the President of the Board of Directors of the Company.

She is a member of the Management Board of several organizations such as: the National Insurance Bureau, the Economic Chamber of Macedonia - Turkey and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, for five years she was the Vice President of the Supervisory Board at Eurostandard Bank, and is currently the Vice President of MATTO - Macedonian - Turkish Chamber.

Marina has been a member of DHL Express Macedonia for 12 years, where she continuously progressed in the sales department and is currently working as a supervisor of the department in charge of the largest DHL customers, and is responsible for developing the sales department in accordance with the business strategy, processes and procedures within the DHL CISSEE region. During her work experience in DHL, her sales results were globally recognized on several occasions. She has received the Outstanding Sales Performer in DHL CISSEE and has been listed in the so-called DHL Sales Champions Club, the top 100 sales of DHL globally.

After completing the Faculty of Economics at UKIM in Skopje, he gains 2 years of experience in the private sector in the field of commerce. He started his career in the banking sector in 2003 in Stopanska Banka AD - Skopje, joining the team that created the basis for working with payment cards in Macedonia in that period. During his 15 year career in Stopanska Banka, he has been working on several managerial positions in the field of payment cards and digital banking channels, and is currently the Director of the Department of Cards and Direct Banking. He has graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje and in 2012 he finished his post-graduate studies from the Faculty of Economics at the Staffordshire University. He participated in a number of international conferences and forums in the field of banking, especially in the field of digital banking and payment services of VISA and MasterCard, and participated in some of them as a speaker, panelist and presenter.

Supratim Biswas is currently the Chief Revenue Officer of CleverTap. He is a seasoned digital leader with 2 decades of experience in building and scaling $100 M + mobile / software businesses in Europe, Americas and APAC. Previously Supratim was an entrepreneur and also held a variety of leadership roles most notably VP- Sales & Marketing at Nuance Communication , VP - Europe at InfoSpace, SVP - Business Dev at TIMWE and Product Leader in COGNOS (acquired by IBM). In the last decade, Supratim has also been an advisor / angel investor and mentor for many digital start ups in UK, Germany and SE Asia.

Jovan Lazareski has a degree in International Trade from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, and extensive experience in marketing and online sales.

In 2017, Jovan started working at the online store Platinavrata.mk, where he is directly involved in the social media promotion of the store, and works on both the design and the management of Facebook advertising. In addition, he works on the improvement and integration of marketing strategies with the goal of increasing conversion rates for the store.

His main goal and motivation in his current position is to improve and increase users’ access, so that they can use the full benefits of e-commerce.

Igor Velickovski is a Manager of Payment Systems Department with the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia since 2013. His previous work experience was closely related to monetary policy implementation and foreign reserve management. He holds PhD in Monetary Economics and his research focus includes monetary, trade, financial and payment integration processes. He has been engaged in several international research projects.

Veljan Popovski is an expert in the field of card products and services, as well as in the management of corporate client relationships, and the arrangement of models for optimal use of products and services of the Bank in support of the sales processes.

He works at the Centralized Sales Service of NLB Bank as the Head of the Sector for Offer Development and Marketing. In his professional career, he has been responsible for a series of project activities in the card sector, among which are the development of sophisticated business models for the introduction of card products, and their introduction in the product palette of the Bank, development and management of loyalty programs, and a series of other activities.

Veljan has a Master’s Degree in Economic Sciences in the area of Monetary Economics. His professional experience at NLB Bank dates back to 2003. Lead by the need for self-improvement and growth in his leadership and management style, he was inspired to become a professional coach at the prestigious Erickson International Academy.

Д-р Анита Ангеловска-Бежоска стапи на функцијата гувернер на Народната банка на Република Македонија во мај 2018 година, со речиси дванаесетгодишно претходно работно искуство во институцијата, и тоа, најпрво како главен економист, а потоа, безмалку осум години како вицегувернер задолжен за областите монетарна политика, истражување и статистика, при што беше и заменик-гувернер на Република Македонија во Одборот на директори на Меѓународниот монетарен фонд (ММФ). Член е на Комитетот за централнобанкарска статистика „Ирвинг Фишер“ при Банката за меѓународни порамнувања во Базел. Пред да пристапи кон тимот на централната банка, таа има двегодишен работен ангажман во ММФ, во Вашингтон, САД, првенствено како економист во Одделот за макроекономски политики во европските земји, а краток период и во Одделот за фискални политики. Истовремено има и членувано во повеќе преговарачки мисии на ММФ за склучување аранжмани со земји членки. Од 2006 година наваму, како експерт, постојано е ангажирана во тимови на ММФ за обезбедување техничка помош за повеќе земји од Европа. Својата работна кариера ја има започнато како стручен соработник за финансискиот систем во Министерството за финансии, во кое на различни работни позиции минува осум години од својата работна кариера. Притоа, меѓу другото, најпрво како раководител на Проектот за воспоставување трезорски систем во Република Македонија, а потоа и како раководител на секторот Трезор при ова министерство, дава исклучително значаен придонес за спроведувањето клучни реформи во системот на јавни финансии во државата: воспоставувањето единствена трезорска сметка, воспоставувањето систем за редовни проекции на буџетската ликвидност и управувањето со ликвидноста, унапредувањето на буџетското сметководство, развојот на пазарот на државни хартии од вредност и унапредувањето на буџетското известување во согласност со меѓународните стандарди. Нејзиниот придонес за развојот на јавните финансии во нашата држава е валоризиран и со награда од Амбасадата на САД во Република Македонија, којашто ѝ е доделена во 2004 година. Во текот на 2003 и 2004 година е државен секретар во Министерството за финансии, при што е одговорна за: координирањето на активностите на сите сектори во рамки на Министерството, координирањето на процесите поврзани со европската интеграција, буџетските реформи и преговорите со меѓународните финансиски институции. Истовремено, во 2004 година е и раководител на тимот за подготовка за издавање на првиот кредитен рејтинг на Република Македонија. Автор е на повеќе стручни и научни трудови од областа на монетарната политика и макроекономската политика, воопшто, но и на трудови од областа на фискалната политика и управувањето со јавните финансии. Во текот на нејзината досегашна кариера, ангажирана е и како предавач на повеќе домашни и меѓународни образовни и научни институции. Својата докторска дисертација ја има одбрането во 2015 година, на Економскиот факултет во Љубљана, Република Словенија, на тема „Координација на монетарната и фискалната политика во Република Македонија.

Bogdan Bochenek based in Warsaw, Poland has a variety experiences on risk, fraud monitoring and wide compliance knowledge, having worked since years in a number of banks and for last 16 years at Mastercard.

With end-to-end business launching and implementation knowledge culminating in responsibility at Senior Card Operations/Management level, Bogdan’s career has included managing large card / merchant portfolios of different Issuers, Acquirers and their service providers, looking after cardholder and merchant relationships for all credit, debit, prepaid and commercial products.

Within Mastercard, Bogdan initially worked for Technology Management during 4+ years, offering regional best-in-class implementation and operational support. During next 5+ years Bogdan worked for region-wide Account Relationship team, managing major card issuing and merchant acquiring portfolios. Lastly he provides customer’s compliance monitoring and fraud engagement expertizes for customer institutions excellence - including member services providers – across 20 countries in CEE Division, where Bogdan provides fraud management best practices’ guidance to issuers, acquirers, merchants and processors.

Bogdan delivers also Mastercard Academy courses – in standard and customized on- site conferences, Fraud Community Days or Risk Leadership Forums.

Biljana Donovska Gecheva is the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors at KASIS AD Skopje, since November 2015. Before taking the presidency of the board she was acting as a non-executive member of the company management. She begins her 24 year career after acquiring the diploma from the Faculty of Economics at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, firstly in the field of international trade, performing managerial position in the main office of Balkan Stil in Skopje and Paris, France, and then in the field of banking, performing the position of Director of sectors at Unibank Skopje. In parallel with her working career, she completed her masters degree in management. Biljana is a member of the risk committee of some of the international card organizations and she is also a member of the National Council for Payment Systems in the Republic of Macedonia. Occasionally she is a guest lecturer in the field of card operations at some of the faculties in Skopje. She is open to new challenges and she successfully implements innovative technologies, products and functionalities, while working in the banking industry. In November 2008, together with the payment processor Casys, where she currently holds the position of Executive Director, for the first time from the position of the financial sector and in the field of payment transactions in the Republic of Macedonia, she launched payments by cards in e-commerce.

Igor Gesovski is a Master of Economic Science and Bank Management. Specialized financial consultant for domestic and foreign clients in the field of several economic spheres. He is a mediator since 2010. Actively participates in strategic planning, coordination and implementation of programs for attracting foreign investments in the Republic of Macedonia, with a special contribution in the field of Medicine and Energy. Iskra Tikvarovska Kazandjievska has a long-term experience in the marketing field. In the past 12 years, she has worked on the coordination and realization of numerous communication and corporate social responsibility projects. Several of the projects she worked on have received domestic and international awards and acknowledgements. She has been working in EVN Macedonia since 2007 where among other engagements, she was a part of the development and promotion of the customer online services. She has a undergraduate degree in economy, as a part of the first generation of e-business students. She has a Master degree in e-business management, received within the partnering program between The Faculty of Economics in Skopje and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

MSc Gjoko Тanasoski is a Director General of the Customs Administrations of the Republic of Macedonia. He is a graduate Mechanical Engineer of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” Skopje. He continued his formal education after graduation and specialized in two specific domains: - Master In Mechanical Engineering (postgraduate in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” Skopje) - Study programme for Business Administration - MBA Executive (CITY Liberal Studies–Affiliated Institution of the University of Sheffield, Thessaloníki, Greece). He has extensive working experience of over 20 years in international companies specialized in industrial purchasing, on top-level management positions (Fulda DOOEL, CIMOS DOOEL, LTH Castings DOOEL). Also, he has experience in the field of international Insurance companies (EUROLINK Insurance AD Skopje and Croatia Insurance AD Skopje). As a director general, his vision is to make Customs Administrations of the Republic of Macedonia the most advanced Customs Adminstration in the region which strongly supports the legal economy, fully in line with Europian Union standards.
